Slits and plunging necklines were popular on the red carpet.
Stars gathered for a night of glamour and charitable giving at the BAFTA Gala on Thursday.
Bulgari sponsored the 2024 event, which was held at the Peninsula Hotel in London to raise money for working artists.
Attendees mostly wore black-and-white looks for the gala, and many of the best outfits of the night had a daring flair, like a cutout or thigh-high slit.
Take a look at the most memorable looks of the night.
British radio personality Clara Amfo put a sexy spin on a suit.
Amfo’s black suit was form-fitting in the bodice and waist, though it had looser sleeves and pant legs for a contrasting silhouette.
The jacket buttoned at her waist, and Amfo wore nothing beneath it, creating a plunging neckline.
Vera Wang’s dress featured a built-in hood.
Wang walked the red carpet in a white gown with a billowy bodice and a form-fitting skirt with a delicate train.
The neckline sat low on her chest, contrasting with the hood that flowed from the bodice to sit on her head.
Detached black sleeves completed the look, hanging past Wang’s hands.
Actor Mia Mckenna-Bruce’s dress was made with sheer fabric.
Mckenna-Bruce chose an A-line Simone Rocha gown for the BAFTA Gala.
The gown was made of sheer, black fabric, and the skirt featured bow-shaped embellishments to give it a feminine edge. Her sparkly, black bra was visible under the spaghetti-strap bodice.
Holly White styled the look.
Phoebe Dynevor’s black gown included a statement bow.
Dynevor’s form-fitting gown hit her at the ankle, exposing her black pumps. Alessandra Rich designed the dress.
Its white straps scooped into a cutout on the center of the bodice, with a delicate bow tying them together. Nicky Yates styled the look.
Her “Bridgerton” costar Regé-Jean Page accessorized his black suit with a brooch.
Styled by Holly Macnaghten, Page wore a black suit to the 2024 BAFTA Gala.
His white top was asymmetrical with no collar, so he didn’t wear a tie. A large silver brooch sat on his lapel.
Actor Angelababy wore one of the few colorful looks of the night.
Angelababy wore a custom Barney Cheng gown to the gala.
The light-pink dress had a mandarin collar, cap sleeves, and a dramatic train. A sheer overlay with silver embellishments exposed a subtle cutout on her waist.
Architectural detailing made Christina Estrada’s black gown stand out.
Estrada’s figure-hugging black dress was strapless and flowed to the floor.
Three-dimensional pops of fabric jutted out from the neckline and waist, creating volume.
Pegah Pourmand’s ensemble featured feather detailing and a thigh-high slit.
Pourmand wore a dress from her La Pearlin collection.
The strapless, black bodice had a feather trim, with longer feathers jutting out, while the white skirt tied around her waist with a bow before spilling out to the floor.
The bow formed a thigh-high slit, highlighting Pourmand’s white pumps.
Nikki Sharp’s dress had daring slits too.
Elisabetta Franchi designed Sharp’s black gown, which had a form-fitting bodice and off-the-shoulder sleeves.
The full-length skirt had giant slits on each side, separating it into three parts and exposing Sharp’s legs. Sparkly black heels completed the look.
Robyn Electra paired a textured minidress with printed tights.
Her dress had quarter-length sleeves and was belted at her waist. The entire garment was made of layers of textured tulle.
Black tights adorned with silver stars and black shoes with sparkly silver bows complemented the festive dress.
Actor Layton Williams arrived in a white suit.
Williams’ white suit included a long blazer, trousers, and white chaps adorned with a floral design and trimmed with tassels.
Coordinating white shoes completed the outfit.
A train spilled out from the waistline of Celeste’s dress.
Celeste’s gown had a scooped neckline that gave way to cap sleeves before flowing into a floor-length skirt.
The dress bubbled at her waist, allowing two swaths of fabric to flow out from each side of the gown like trains.
