Celebrities talk about making mental health issues a priority

(Web Desk) – Fahad Mustafa briefly discussed the state of fellow entertainers’ mental health in his recent appearance in an interview.

He said everyone in the industry suffers from mental illness and there is no one to whom one can turn for relationship guidance.

The interviewer persisted, speculating as to whether the problems in the industry affect everyone.

“It’s the nature of our work,” Fahad said. When someone sees you, they will judge you based on your appearance, voice, and current appearance.

He added people should not be asking showbiz personalities for advice and one should seek it from his family members for better assistance.

On World Mental Health Day, Mawra Hocane addressed the same on her Instagram in a much more melancholy tone.

The actor wrote, “I have spent the last three years of my life focusing on this little girl,” while sharing a video of a younger version of himself.

She required relaxation, healing, and time alone. To leave the clamour and the lights…Instead, discover the light within…To work just enough to be happy and avoid seeking approval in tiredness…Most significantly, she yearned to be “home,” and after a very long time, she was in home.

Mawra was emphasising the value of healing the same by referring to the child she once was, now her inner child. The idea of mending one’s inner child by providing them with the love they lacked or wanted is frequently mentioned by mental health practitioners.

Inadvertently, this is an act of self-love that aids in the healing of the adult self as well because one’s inner child is a part of oneself.

The actor continued to highlight, “Don’t shy away from making yourself a priority. If 2020 taught me anything, it was to not ignore my inner voice, to listen to my body, to chase happiness and nothing else because, at the end of the day, it’s all that matters…Sending love and strength to those who still suffer in silence.”
