The Yorkshire Dales Food & Drink Festival has announced it is expanding its 2024 line-up to include chart-topping music acts who will join its stellar line up of celebrity chefs.
The UK’s biggest weekend food festival takes place between 19th-21st July 2024 at Funkirk Farm in Skipton.
And the family-run festival is upping the tempo for 2024, evolving its music offering to bring festival goers a weekend’s worth of top-notch bands and artists including Blue, Chesney Hawkes, The Real Thing and Heather Small.
The festival, now in its 9th year, will welcome back its celebrity chef friends, James Martin and The Hairy Bikers to the Le Gruyere Big Top Theatre Kitchen.
There will also be a host of food, drink and entertainment including 300 street food traders, artisan producers, chef demos and plenty to keep the kids entertained.
Returning music acts who got the party started in 2023 include Brutus Gold’s Love Train and Gok Wan, who had the festival field dancing under the stars, with his uplifting disco DJ set.
The festival will also host an array of fantastic tribute acts including Dolly Parton, Becky Hill, Taylor Swift and Pink.
The event will feature over 50 different workshops, experiences and masterclasses – many of which are completely free, kids activities, local music artists, more than 50+ demonstrations from leading and Michelin chefs across the region.
The huge 1,000 acre site offers camping, glamping, caravanning and motorhome pitches allowing guests to stay onsite and enjoy the whole weekend.
Rachael Higgins, founder of The Yorkshire Dales Food & Drink Festival, said:
“This will be the first time in our history that we have introduced chart-topping, musical talent to our festival line-up together with our celebrity chefs, tribute acts and DJ’s. I can’t tell you how excited I am for next summer.
“It will be our biggest and no doubt best festival yet and we’re all so looking forward to seeing everyone enjoying themselves and having a great time. We want our guests to come for the food, stay for the music and leave with the best memories.”
