The Boys’ star Erin Moriarty quits social media amid criticism against her appearance

Recent images of ‘The Boys‘ star Erin Moriarty went viral online and many reacted as if she got some type of plastic surgery. If the internet wasn’t enough, presented and news host Megyn Kelly got on her show to go after the actress in an unwarranted attack. Kelly pulled no punches as her style has morphed much more into what she’s actually like in real life. Using that photo of Moriarty, Megyn Kelly said she has the Kim Kardashian lips and even said she had cheek implants. In her mind, she was aiming to criticize women for trying to change their natural selves. However, all she got in return was a long post from the actress and her announcement of taking a break from social media.

In a long post, Moriarty wrote: “We’re all subject to levels of bullying throughout our lives but I am horrified, and I felt that I deserved to take a second to address these things. To receive a message about a disgustingly false, counterproductive to the degree of being ironically misogynistic video of Megyn Kelly commenting on the manner – to learn the widespread nature of this has left me horrified. There’s no excuse for these horrific allegations, the verbal abuse that I have had to delete, and genuinely false information that is being used to perpetuate a message that is exhibitionist feminism. You don’t have to believe me when I say these videos are absolutely false. You never know what someone is going through … and irregardless, there is no excuse for the words that have been spoken directly to be or about me.”

Megyn Kelly’s history of attacks against celebrities

When Megyn Kelly started her own show on Youtube, that meant she would finally get the freedom she wanted to practice the type of journalism that suits her better. Although she does talk about political stuff, much of her content does rely heavily on going after celebrities she doesn’t agree with. Over the time she’s been going solo, Megyn Kelly proved to her audience she doesn’t mind going after anybody. The Boys‘ star has never come across Kelly in her professional life, this is the only contact they’ve gotten.
